Oversized Vintage Button Down Becomes....

I bought the shirt because I absolutely loved the fabric and decided to turn it into something else. It turned out to be a mini dress (or top depending on height). The feather detail is on a pin and the piece can still be unbuttoned. Just another one of my creations :) What do you think about it?

Best Summer Scent EVER!!! :)

Bath & Body Works Coconut Vanilla Body Lotion is seriously my favorite ever!! Its light scent makes it perfect for hot weather and it's a good quality lotion too! Very moisturizing and long lasting :) This is perfect for someone who isn't crazy about heavily scented lotions or perfumes. Sadly, it's not from a recent Bath & Body Works collection, so you won't find it in stores. You'll have to buy it online, but it's totally worth. Everyone I know who has tried this product loves it as well! If you love the scent of vanilla and haven't tried this, you're missing out!

Block Party!

I LOVE the color blocking trend. There are so many possibilities and it really forces you to think about the colors you put together for an outfit. It's all about making sure each color compliments the other without looking overwhelming. This trend is perfect for spring and summer. Really brightens my mood :) Being from New York, I was so use to wearing a lot of "all black, red lipstick" type looks. It's a refreshing change for the warmer months.  Here's a little inspiration:

Shades n Bangles

The shades above are from Forever 21 (about $6). Big shades and colorful bangles are starting to grow on me. especially after seeing the Fendi sunglasses below. Love 'em :)

Viva Yellow!

Yellow nails are fun for summer. I wear a lot of neutrals and it's a great way to add a pop of color! Plus it looks great on all complexions. My favorite right now is Maybelline Color Show in Fierce n Tangy 230.

Give Some Lip :)

I am a huge fan of bold lipstick. Red lipstick is one trend that will never die out. It's the easiest way to dress things up. A few favs of mine include Cyber by M.A.C (deep purple color), Rebel by M.A.C (dark pink), and Confidence by Mary Kay (deep red)
